I am fascinated with the underwater world. We have so many beautiful and weird creatures that roam the depths of lakes and oceans, and we still have so much to discover. Maybe I should take up scuba diving?

Last year I purchased the Sanyo Xacti Wh1 – a wonderful underwater camera that is submergible up to 10 feet. The reason I bought it was for my Tobago trip. I knew I wanted to get some snorkeling footage and also share my experiences with you since you helped me get there 🙂 Well, the camera has captured some amazing footage even here in Ontario, so I got thinking today that I should edit some together to show you.

It is so gloomy and rainy outside today, a PERFECT day to watch summer videos and day dream. Watching those cute little fishies gave me a nice warm feeling and a hope for a FAST approaching Spring and fishing season, enjoy!

Some photos too:

  1. Cool vid of the snapper! Looking forward to seeing some smallmouth this summer?

  2. You should definitely take up Scuba diving. I know Hayley wants to take it too. It would give her more opportunities as a camera person I think. Jeff and I may take it up in the next few years so that we can do some when we travel.

  3. Wandering Owl – I actually do have some smallmouth live release footage, I will see if it's worth throwing together!

Nancy – That would be great! I think I will try it too, would be so neat to get amazing photos underwater and just experience it all 🙂 It would be so fun to go on a trip with Hayley someday!!

  4. Wondering Owl – I just went through my videos and they are not clear enough 🙁 It was when I first got my camera so I was still just learning. I promise some this year!

  6. A couple suggestions: You might want to set your archiving frequency to monthly because it is really a pain in the butt to have to go back and look at the posts 1 at a time.

Also the Google Friend Connect Follower Gadget is something every Blogger blog should display. Unfortunately I can't do it with Bass Pundit because it's uses the old blogger HTML template and they don't offer the HTML for it.

  7. Thank you for the comment – I took your advice 🙂 It's nice to have feedback, so I appreciate it!

  8. Ashley: Neat video, loved the turtle in all its glory underwater.
