    Ashley,
I have a neice and nephew ages 6 & 4, I bought them cheaply rods to get them interested in fishing (a frozen princess & captain America). This weekend they caught a pike on each of their rods and well… that’s it for the rods.. They were excited to hook fish, and sad to break their rods… Help me get them back on the water?

  2. I volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters here in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. I’d love the opportunity to introduce my 11 year old “little brother” to the great fishing we have here right in town and even short drive out of town. I’m well equipped with my own gear, but would love to offer him his own fishing rod so he can pursue the adventure outside of our time together.

    Hi Ashley.
My daughter recently married a fine young man from the French Alps. They currently live in Toronto but my daughter has introduced Hubby to the fine Canadian traditions of camping and fishing. Be has become quite the outdoorsman in short order and is crazy about fishing. They manage to escape The Big Smoke whenever they can and are planning a canoeing adventure very soon. I know they would both benefit from receiving fishing rods. I would even pledge to unload a good portion of my tackle to supplement and get them on their way so to speak. Thanks. Yours in fishing.SM.

  5. I recently just started fishing myself. I’m not very good at it but I’m learning. I really want to take my 3 year old son and 6 year old daughter fishing. They always ask me to take them when we are at the trailer. We share my rod. But it would be super awesome to have another one to teach the kids with 🙂 thanks so much for the opportunity. I would be forever grateful. It’s so much fun watching their faces when they are fishing. They absolutely love it.

  6. My only nephew who is 14 going on 15 likes doing outside stuff like fishing. My one niece who happens to be sister also likes fishing and sports. I think fishing is a good way to stay out of trouble and teach responsibility. My niece, nephew and I live in Pennsylvania in the USA. We fish when on vacation with rods but they’ve been taken by good sized fish. The fish are there but are rods aren’t good enough. I mostly want these rods for them and if I can win this giveaway that would be great.
    Thanks, Crystal

  7. I would love a chance to win my first rod and introduce fishing to my younger sister. Although we aren’t so little anymore, we grew up not very connected with nature. Our family wasn’t the ‘camping’ type! As chance would have it, I went on my first fishing trip this year in April and have caught the fishing bug. Since then I’ve been borrowing gear from friends, have caught about 5 species and I’m ready for more. 🙂 It’s time to start looking at getting my own equipment and share this new disease.
