The Z-Man SMH Jigheads were designed to complement the SMH WormZ and enhance tail movement. The SMH Jighead has been meticulously crafted to meet professional bass angler Brian ‘B.Lat’ Latimer’s precise specifications, including specific angles and head shape, as well as carefully selected hook materials.
To optimize its performance in various conditions, the jighead features a pointed nose and angled eyelet, allowing it to smoothly navigate through grass, brush, and pivot gracefully on bottom, while effortlessly traversing rocks and other obstacles. The hook-eye is also slightly recessed, enhancing its resistance to snagging. The jig’s sleek oval surface enhances its ability to skip effectively under boat docks, laydowns, and other forms of overhanging cover. For a stealthy approach and easy hooksets with 6- to 15-pound line, the custom-made, round bend needlepoint 4/0 black nickel hook proves to be ideal. Its medium wire construction perfectly aligns with the finesse characteristics of the worm without overpowering it, and a specially designed welded wire keeper simplifies rigging while securely holding ElaZtech baits in place.
