Sponsors & Friends
The following companies support my mission for fishin’ and my dream. Please help me support them! I couldn’t fish as much as I do without them.
Fishing has connected me with so many incredible people over the years, some that have become some of my closest friends. Below are some solid anglers and people in the industry that I highly suggest connecting with, booking a charter, or checking out their services!
I met Joe years ago when I still lived in Napanee and we’ve shared many adventures together targeting walleye on the ice or in his charter boat. We filmed a TV show together which you will see on the World Fishing Network called ‘Captured’. I also worked as a first mate on Joe’s charter boat one fall. Not only is Joe a great friend, he’s an extremely experienced and knowledable angler with many years on the Bay of Quinte under his belt. In fact, if you’ve driven down the 401 in the region, you may have noticed he’s featured on the Bay of Quinte signage with one of the many massive walleye he’s caught! If you’re looking to learn more about quality walleye fishing on the Bay during the ice or open water season, give Joe a shout!
Nick is one of the nicest guys I know and is a heck of an angler coming from a walleye tournament background in the United States! I met Nick through Joe and we’ve shared many awesome experiences out on the water chasing Bay of Quinte walleye! You can find Nick guiding for walleye full-time during the open water season on the Bay of Quinte and posting lots of updates about his adventures with clients and friends. Nick is definitely an expert on the Bay of Quinte and I highly recommend him.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jason and Jeff during my trip to the Regina Outdoor Sports Show in March 2015. These two brothers quickly became two of my favourite people. I had my best pike fishing experience ever through the ice thanks to these guys and can’t wait to fish in Saskatchewan with them again! Jason and Jeff have backgrounds in biology and videography making a perfect combination to share and educate anglers through their videos, website, articles and social media channels. They are extremely knowledgeable on multi-species year-round and you can always learn something from them.
A few years back I had the opportunity to fly to Manitoba and experience some insane cat fishing on the Red River with Todd Longley! Todd is a guide on open water and on the ice based near . He’s aptly known as the ‘Rock ‘N Roll Fisherman’ and when you meet him, you’ll know why. Todd is passionate about introducing newcomers to the sport and is a huge part of many kids events held in the province. Look Todd up if you’re traveling to Manitoba and want to get into some monsters!
John is not just a local musky fishing legend on the Ottawa River, but he’s likely one of the best in Canada. I met John on a few occasions and am very thankful that I’ve had the opportunity to get out on the water with him and learn more about musky. John is a full-time guide (throughout the musky season) and has been chasing these magnificent fish since the 70’s. You can catch one of his seminars in the off season or stay up to date with his blogs on his brand new website that I recently helped him to design.
Erik is a successful young tournament angler who also runs a program called ‘Bass Class’. He teaches clients of all fishing skill levels about bass fishing and other species. He’s based in the Kawartha’s in Ontario and can be booked for trips spring through to fall. I’ve been lucky to share some fun adventures out on the water and ice fishing with Erik throughout the years and he’s another great angler who deserves a mention on this page!
