This year I am focusing on putting forth a better effort to share more! In the past my blog has often gone silent for a month at a time or sometimes longer. It’s no reflection of what I am up to as I’m always busy spending time out on the water, working at fishing-related events, or writing articles for various publications throughout the year. This year I’ve made a promise that I will include more of what’s happening in my life here on my blog, especially now with a growing subscriber list that receives an email each time a new post goes up. If you’re not on this list yet, you can sign up at the bottom of this post. It’s easy to miss what’s going on through social media, but this email feature is a great way of ensuring you don’t miss a post. Thanks to everyone that has signed up so far! You inspire me to write more and I won’t let you down 🙂

If you’ve been following along recently, you would have seen an exciting opportunity that I was apart of the past few months. For the first time I was invited to be the ambassador at two outdoor trade shows for Ontario Boat Shows. This included the London Boat, Fishing & Outdoor Show as well as the Hamilton Boat, Fishing & Outdoor Show. I had such an amazing experience at both events to say the least! You can click the links above to check out the blog posts I wrote about each adventure and the amazing people I shared my weekends with. Both shows had a fantastic line-up of speakers covering a wide variety of fishing styles and topics.

This morning an article was published on the Boating Business website which included an interview with the president of the boat shows, Dwayne McKillop, touching on the success of the events, attracting more females to the shows, and also my involvement. Here is a link to the article:

The feedback from Dwayne was wonderful and I truly enjoyed this experience! Thank you to everyone that came out to the shows! I sure hope to be back next year 😀

Thanks for reading!
